Fighting air pollution

British Lung Foundation:
The (un)Clean Air Act

In the UK, air pollution has been declared a public health emergency. The British Lung Foundation wanted to highlight the issue and lobby government to improve air pollution regulations.

We tackled it the way Banksy would. We fought pollution with pollution. By printing the current air pollution law in a transparent glue and placing these posters on the streets of London, pollution particles in the air clung to it, making the text legible and clearly demonstrating how ineffective and outdated that law has become. In one hit, it showed passers-by and MPs why a new law is desperately needed.
