Columbia drop Nature Calls:
The World’s first Beer
made from real Bear Sh!T.
Columbia Sportswear:
Nature Calls
On the one day of the year when basically everyone is glued to the TV watching the Big Game, Columbia Sportswear teamed up with Breakside Brewery to bring sports fans a very real taste of the outdoors with Nature Calls - a beer brewed with actual bear poop.
Mother Nature throws a lot at people who head outside, from storms or sub-zero temperatures, but Columbia doesn’t shy away from that stuff, it builds gear specifically to handle it, making the worst parts of nature a whole lot easier to deal with. So what better way to bring Columbia’s Engineered for Whatever platform to life than Nature Calls: a surprisingly tasty beer that proves you really can handle anything nature throws at you.
To launch Nature Calls we Unleashed the Big Games Sh!ttiest Beer Ad.
Starring the absolute cheapest NFL “legends” we could find on Cameo, mashed together with bargain-bin stock footage we slapped together Columbia’s first ever Super Bowl spot.
Nature Calls was brewed by the
mad minds at Breakside Brewery.
Crafted by Portland-based Breakside Brewery, Nature Calls is a crisp lager born in Columbia’s hometown, made with water from the Bull Run River infused with a bear poop collected trailside in Montana from the American black bear, malted grains grown in the Pacific Northwest, and a touch of honey and huckleberry.
We even created a not-so-sh!tty track for our super-sh!tty beer ad.
